Pet Sitting - Staying in someones home
We expect our Sitters to uphold certain standards and be considerate and respectful when providing Pet Care services in an Owners home. This includes respecting the neighbours and any other locals you may meet.

Respect the Owner’s rules
Each Owner, Pet, and their booking is unique. Pet Sitters staying in an Owners home, should respect each home accordingly. Owners may have house rules that serve specific purposes such as: Where pet food is kept, removing shoes inside, where to leave the keys at the end of stay, etc.
We all expect all Owners and Sitters to meet prior to the booking starting. The Meet and Greet is the best opportunity to discuss all these matters.

What we don’t allow:
Disrespecting the space: Owners have trusted you with their loved pet and their home. We expect the Sitter to leave the home in a similar state of cleanliness or better.

Inviting guests over: The Owner is paying for you to provide care services to their pet. Their home is private and you should not invite guests over without express permission of the Owner

Access to personal property other than your own: Any areas clearly designated as off-limits, locked, or containing personal or confidential information are off-limits to Sitters. The Meet and Greet is a good chance to discuss if Owners have security cameras on their property.

We recommend using our resources to document the expectations and specific requests of an Owner to protect you and the Owner. Sitters that are in breach of these expectations or deliberately ignore the instructions of Owners should expect to be removed from the platform.
