At Mad Paws, **we don't allow cash payments to be made or received**. All payments must be made through the our platform. Sitters must ensure that the Owner has paid for the booking before they start looking after an Pet. You will receive a notification that the Owner has paid and the Status will change to Paid.

Bookings paid for on the Mad Paws platform, allows all parties access to: 

-   Our Customer Service team - Monday- Saturday 9-5pm via Chat, Phone or email
-   Our [Accident Cover Insurance](/doc/57b76e5e-2d83-41c4-8c67-caf5f16304b7) 
-   Payment gateway allowing Owners to pay and Sitters to receive funds

If we see that you are taking jobs offline books or discussing receiving a cash payment, **we will suspend your account.** We really hope you understand and acknowledge the fact that a portion of our [fees](/doc/274471d2-ceff-43b3-8f9d-2cf5f05169e2) are actually used to protect both you and the Pet Owners during your bookings.
