# Why is my profile not in the search results?

After completing your application, you will need to upload a photo of your ID and your Course Certificate. Your profile won't be active until it has been approved by our Customer Service team, who will check your application within 7 business days. We may ask for more information if needed. Till then you may choose to [keep improving your Pet Sitting Profile](/articles/071a14ab-baec-4ac8-a420-82ee4e0dccfd).

It is important to note that we decline 50% of applications for one of the following reasons: 

-   **Bio is too Short** - We expect at least 3 paragraphs detailing your Pet Sitter experience, love of animals, and how your service will improve the lives of pets!
-   **Blurry Photos -** We need to be able to see your name and Date of Birth clearly on your ID
-   **Not enough photos in Gallery -** Owners are attracted to Pet Sitter Profiles with several photos. We recommend at least five on your photo Gallery.

After approval, your Profile will be displayed in the Mad Paws Search Results.
