# What are promo codes and how do they work?

**Mad Paws often offers new users promotional codes, enticing them to book using the website.**

Promo codes offer Sitters a new means by which to earn new customers! Many Sitters are often under the impression that they earn less from a stay when an Owner uses a promo code. This is not the case - in fact, Mad Paws pays for the promo code! This offers the Owner a great deal whilst making sure the Pet Sitter is paid their standard rate.

You can either send them the link directly or fill in their email address and we can send them a link for you.
