# How to create a benchmarking analysis based on Peers?

> This article outlines the steps to create a company benchmarking analysis using the i2i Logic Insights platform. By following these steps, you can benchmark a company's performance against a group of peers, providing valuable insights for client engagements.

## Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. **Load your target company.**

   Your bank private companies can be easily accessed by clicking on the 'My Companies' check box.

2. **Navigate to the 'Peers' module**
   * Click on 'Company' in the navigation bar and select the 'Peers' module.

     Explore 'Conversation Insights' for conversation ideas and guidance. Click on 'Company' in the navigation bar and select the 'Conversation Insights' module. Here you can access a range of insights, conversation ideas and bank opportunities for the company.

3. **Select peers and periods for benchmarking**
   * Select up to 4 peers from the auto generated list.
   * If your company is missing from the list, click on the 'Add Peers' button and add any company on the platform as a peer.
   * By default, the latest 2 periods are used for benchmarking, to change this click on the 'Adjust Dates' button.

     The working capital metrics for the LTM periods highlighted with ^ symbol may include non-trade related items. Annual periods are recommended for a more accurate analysis of working capital

4. **Analyze company performance versus the peers**
   * Various screens allow us to understand the company's operating and financial performance versus the selected peers.
   * Identify insights and opportunities by benchmarking the relevant company metrics against its peers.
5. **Generate reports**
   * Click on the PDF icon to generate a report.
   * You can use 'Customize with Publisher' option to customize the report by adding comments to each page.
