# How To Add More Information About Your Pet

We would be delighted to hear more about your fur babies! More details will enable our pet sitters to determine whether they are the best fit to look after your fur babies.


## **Here are the steps on how you can add more information about your pet;**


1. Head to your Mad Paws account, from the profile section of your account go to Pets and click on **View Profile**.

2. To add more information about your pets, click **Edit Profile**. The system divided your pet's information into six categories (Basics, Behaviour, Walking, Feeding, Health, and Home Life).

* **Basics:** This area is dedicated to your pet's personal information, including name, gender, breed, size, birth month, and year; it also includes information on whether your pet is microchipped, desexed, house trained, has separation anxiety and how sociable your pet towards other dogs. 
* **Behaviour:** This part will ask you to describe your pets in a few words. What your pet enjoys and dislikes. Please include as much information as possible in this part, as it will play a significant role in the sitter's decision over whether or not to accept your pet.
* **Walking:** This is the section where you can describe your pet's walk routine and any other information that the pet sitter should be aware of when walking your pet.
* **Feeding**: It matters what your pets eat! Please include detailed instructions on what, when, and how to feed your pets. 
* **Health:** This crucial section requires detailed health information, including general health, medications, and emergency contacts. This enables the pet sitter to assess whether they can provide the necessary care for your pet and ensures they know who to contact or where to take your pet in case of an emergency.
* **Home Life:** How does your pet spend their time at home? Tell us in this section. \n 

  **==IMPORTANT: Some sections will prompt you to rate your pet on a scale of 1 to 5. If you rank your pet 3 or above, we strongly advise you to give us more information, as this will help the pet sitters know how to better handle your pet.==**
